Jonah Bignell - First Degree Black Sash and Junior Instructor

At 11 years old, just before I was due to leave primary school, I went to my first session. I loved the atmosphere and the friendliness. I started working towards my first sash (white sash) straight away. As I progressed through the sashes it helped my confidence in lots of ways.

At the age of 15 I passed my first degree black sash. I now assist as a Junior Instructor and I am enjoying teaching other people what I have learned and love doing.
